Published 27/02/2017 - 2 Comments

Yealink have had 2 new phones added to the Skype for Business Cloud PBX certification list:

Yealink T48G Skype for Business Edition

This premium phone is for executives and professionals who expect high phone performance and a superior Skype for Business-tailored experience. With its 7-inch, 800×480-pixel backlit touchscreen and a modern interface, the T48G-Skype for Business edition offers users simple one-click access to Skype for Business features while lowing the learning curve thanks to the familiar and friendly user experience. The T48G’s Optima HD technology delivers lifelike voice quality. The T48G provides added flexibility for executives and professionals with its USB Bluetooth connectivity and its ability to switch calls to mobile phones. With the Yealink EXP40 Expansion Module, the phone extends up to 240 contacts.

Yealink T46G Skype for Business Edition

The professional desktop color phone is for customers who expect high phone performance. In addition to lifelike voice quality delivered by Yealink Optima HD technologies, the T46G’s large 4.3-inch colour screen presents a modern Skype for Business interface, which gives users a familiar and friendly user experience. The T46G-Skype edition is equipped with advanced functions to help simplify every user’s workflow. For executives and sales persons, the T46G supports USB Bluetooth connectivity and flexible call switching to mobile phones. For front desk personnel, the T46G can be paired with the Yealink EXP40 expansion module, which supports up to 240 additional contacts.

These are added to the many options from Polycom and the current single option from AudioCodes (though I hear more from AudioCodes will be added soon)

Can an existing Yealink T48G phone work with S4B Cloud PBX with a firmware upgrade or something or is a new phone purchase required?
