Lync 2010 CU9 (July 2013) and Lync 2013 CU2 (July 2013) Download Links

The Lync patches continue to roll out. We now have updates for both Lync 2010 and Lync 2013, both client and Server.

Lync 2013 Client CU2 (Strangely this has come out as a Security Patch)

There are lots of updates in Lync 2013 CU2, its definitely worth checking out

Update includes:

  • IM Mute
  • Question and Answer (Q&A) Capability in Meetings (remember this from Live Meeting?)
  • Inline Images within IMs (so you can paste photos straight into Lync)
  • Meetings Tab (so you can see your Lync meetings from directly in the client)

We are about to apply CU9 for lync server 2010, is there known issues which we need to take?

    Not that I’ve heard. I’ve only rolled big deploys to CU8 at the moment, but haven’t seen any posts around issues. Let us know how it goes :-)
