Dell have let people know that at the end of their contacts Live Meeting customers will be offered to renew into the Lync Online Meeting service (apparently the Live Meeting SKU was removed from the price list this month).
Existing Live Meeting customers will be able to continue to use the service as long as their contract lasts.
I think this is great. Lync Online Meetings are superior to Live Meetings, the experience is better, and this may also give companies who have much larger online meetings (presumably/hopefully it will scale to the existing Live Meeting online number, 1250 participants at pro?) a place to host them with an experience consistent with their on-prem Lync or Office 365. It will also generate further awareness of the Lync platform.
